Having lived and raced in Belgium for many years I can honestly say that the best bike shop in Belgium is Van Eyks in Allst. If you planning to do the Ronde van Vlaanderen or Tour of Flanders to us Brits, make sure you allow a few hours to visit the shop.
I regulary take teams over to race in Belgium and Holland. On the day before an event when there's not much to do I always take them to Van Eyks and no I don't get a bung. Don't worry about the language they always have a english speaking sales assistant. It's such a good shop that you could spend all day there just gazing at the fabulous bikes, equipment and clothing. I literaly have to drag them out kicking and screaming.
